3 Powerful Practices for Healing

Meditation


Instill a meditation practice with a breathing technique into your daily routine to access the subconscious mind and reach a higher vibrational state. Sit down each day, preferably at the start of the day, for 15-20 minutes. Focus on your breathing to quiet your mind. Sometimes a gentle sound such as a fan is a good focal point.


Your mind will want to resist. It does this out of a state of protection and to be in control. Just observe, thank your mind for loving you and return to observing the breath. The more you practice, you will feel your mood lighten, reduced stress and a deeper connection to Source Energy move into you.


Journaling


For those who internalize and analyze their thoughts, this is a powerful tool for healing, clearing your mind and releasing stored emotions. Journaling provides a safe space to let it all out.


Write out your feelings, emotions, and your story—the way you see and feel it. The key is to not hold back and not judge yourself. Give yourself permission to feel your emotions, especially guilt, shame, anger, and resentment. By journaling, you can observe without getting caught up in your emotions. And the best part is, if practiced regularly, you can gain the clarity you need to understand your challenges and patterns. Which in turn, helps you take healthier actions toward positive changes.


Gratitude


This is an incredibly simple yet effective practice that can shift negativity into joy. It can help you establish a healthier pattern of thinking and being.


In the morning, write or reflect on: • 1-3 things that you’re grateful for • What you feel would make your day great; and • A daily affirmation.

In the evening before bed, write or reflect: • 1-3 amazing things that happened that day; and • Something you could have done to make it even better

The key is to connect with what you write down and understand why you’re grateful. The more detail and feeling you put into it, the more powerful the results can be.
